Saturday 3rd October was a lovely sunny autumn day at MK Bowl. If anything, a little too sunny for racing CX with the ground still quite hard due to little rain.
In the U12s, Kieron Rice-Williams put in his second performance of the season, coming 21st. Well done Kieron.
In the Senior race, James Beechey was 43rd, Stephen Pulen 45th and Paul Smith 46th.
It was good to see the number of club members racing starting to grow!

In the U14s, Seb Rice-Williams came 7th.

Sunday 27th September was a beautiful sunny day. The course was a fairly technical one held in the grounds of RAF Halton Cross, with its majestic stately home and formal gardens. The Club’s competitors were cheered on by Mick, Craig H and Ricki who had ridden over to support their fellow club members. This was much appreciated by the competitors!

In the U12s, Kieron Rice-Williams came 13th. A sound start to the season, well done Kieron!

In the Seniors, Paul Smith attempted his first race in a field of over 50. He tackled the technical course very competently, relying on his youthful mountain biking skills. Unfortunately, 40 minutes into the race, Paul punctured. A DNF result was unlucky, but Paul really enjoyed his first taste of CX and says that he will be back!

In the Vet 50 race, Roddy came 38th, well towards the back of the field. He was glad to get around the course without incident however, being somewhat unprepared for the season.
