Dave Gill's cycling challenge 2011

As a number of you may know, My sister Ruth has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and has had to have a lung and half her diaphragm removed. She now awaits Radio and Chemotherapy...

I have therefore decided that next year I will be doing a sponsored bike ride for Cancer Research UK. Following a month of planning, I can reveal that in June 2011, I will cycle from Edinburgh to London leaving Edinburgh Waverly Station as the first train of the day passes through. I aim to cycle to London Euston before the last train of the day from Edinburgh arrives. This involves cycling 410 miles between 01:30 and 06:30 the following morning.

You can see all the details and follow my story at my new website www.racethelasttrain.co.uk, you can also follow it on facebook.

Regards

Dave
