Murray Kirton's trip to Majorca

Went in the last week of April 24-04-2010 for 8 days. Stayed at Pollensa Park Hotel, Porto Pollensa, North End of the island, about 1 hour from Palma Airport. Very good weather 18-23oC every day. Had six days riding covering 320 miles. One day swimming (rest day) very big pool 33 metres long. Buffet style meals at hotel so you can eat as much as you can, put on 3kgs in 8 days! My longest climb was 8 kilometres from Caimira up to Luc Monastery, lovely smooth resurfaced road with about 15 hairpin bends through a wooded area. I rode this twice my best time was 33 minutes. Flew from East Midlands Airport which is only 1 hour from Towcester. Rode with a group from Norwich.
