A grey overcast chilly morning with a hint of rain but 15 members and 3 non members were ready for the rides. Two rides set off, the additional ride led by Martin Smith with 7 members and one non member; see Martin's report and the shorter ride to Canons Ashby with 8 members and two non members led by Mick H. This group had just left the clubhouse door when a puncture was reported, caused by a very sharp thorn. A quick inner tube change by Mick., and we were back on the road. The route out was via Greens Norton, Blakesley,Adstone and round the back lanes to the cafe. Home via Morton Pinkney, Weston, Weedon Lois, Wappenham and Abthorpe. Home at 12.45 pm with a distance covered of 24 miles. It did not rain!
