A well disciplined and co-operative band of 8 set out for the Buckingham café but for a change via Silverstone, Stowe, Tingewick & Gawcott. Route variations meant the elderly leader had a chance to catch up whenever there was a slight doubt. We had about 30 min at Café which as usual gave us prompt service. Set off for home through the town & Stowe Avenue to Akeley, Lillingstone Lovell, Wakefield, Whittlebury, Wood Burcote. Exceptionally quiet roads, sunshine and spring scenery made for a pleasant ride. Steve & Nick were both riding well after long spells crocked and look set to be back on long rides soon.
