Alternative ride for Bank Holiday Friday

Saturday, 16 April 2011 13:31 | Written by Paul Smith | PDF | Print | E-mail

Ride will depart 8am on Friday 22nd April, from out the front of the club rooms

UPDATED WITH THE ROUTE SEE END OF ARTICLE

Chris Mason and myself would like to propose a ride out to Woburn next weekend - potentially for Good Friday if anyone else is interested.

The two of us rode the route of the MK Sportive last saturday. I stopped halfway as I hurt my knee, but Chris did a bit more. It was a lovely route - taking in Winslow for a cafe and the Woburn estate with the deer etc. We are wondering if anyone else would be interested in going on a 'quicker' 70 next weekend, perhaps departing the club rooms at 9am.

As it's a bank holiday weekend we have a bit more room for manoevre on days - could do Friday or Saturday or Sunday?

Will post route later. Speed would be c.15-16 mph average.

Thoughts?

I've put a thread on the forum, so please let me know your thoughts on there, or on the facebook (search for a5 rangers) or twitter page (@a5rangers - http://www.twitter.com/a5rangers ).
