Two runs today, the shorter ride led by Mick H., with 13 riders set off to the cafe at Canons Ashby. A welcome back to the fold for Matt Lama and a welcome to his friend Ben Jones. Also Luke Thomas was back with us on a short break from university. The route was via Abthorpe, Wappenham, Weedon Lois and Weston. Home via Adstone, Foxley and Greens Norton. Distance covered was 27 miles.

The additional ride lead by Craig H., with four riders, welcome Richard Holmes, set off to visit the the new cafe at Limes Farm Farthinghoe. The route was via Abthorpe, Wappenham, Syresham, Biddlesden, Westbury, Evenley and Charlton. This cafe is very suitable for a visit with a good selection of cakes; no tea cakes available just yet however. Very friendly people. Home via Culworth, Eydon and the King's Head pub at Farthingstone. Here Julie Semler was on duty behind the bar; Peter S., bought the drinks and the landlord brought us some flapjacks. Thank you! Very pleasant sitting outside in the garden in the hot sunshine. Home now via Litchborough and Greens Norton. Distance covered 39 miles. A very enjoyable run out.
