Clubrun Thursday 15th July 2010

It was a nice bright sunny evening after a day of showers when Craig H., Matt L., and Luke T., set off. The wind however was blowing very strongly from the south and this was the headwind Luke had battled as he cycled in from Milton Malsor. The route chosen was into the wind, out past Mc Donalds, through Silverstone, Dadford, turning right to Welch Lane and on up to Biddlesden, with a detour into and straight back out of Whitfield (hands up those who have been there?). On to Syresham; by now we expected the wind to be behind us, but of course it had now veered and no prizes for guessing it was still a headwind home!

Ride statistics: Home at 8, 15 pm, ride time 1 hour 35 minutes, distance travelled 27 miles and no punctures.
