Andrew Brind Surch then thanked all the timekeepers, marshals and helpers on behalf of the winners. We even had a birthday cake, courtesy of Steve & Pippa Parnell, which was cut by the two founder members present, Jim Bolland and Graham Cafe. Greetings from your Clubrun Secretary. -------------------------------------- I have two exciting new events to keep you entertained during these cold dark evenings! Roller Riding ------------- I am pleased to to announce to all members that alternating Friday clubnights are roller nights. Bring your bike and bike clothing, we will provide the rollers, atmosphere and teas. You can race or just get in some training in the dry. Club members are also advised that the usual social as well as ping-pong and pool table are also available on Friday nights (subject to space). We will start setting up punctually at 7:30. If you arrive at this early time you can see how the kit is put together. I have also been asked to remind everybody that, unlike your turbo trainers, you will need your front wheel. Officially, the roller riding will be every other Friday night commencing with this Friday (14 November). However the equipment is there to be used by any club members who have been shown how to set it up. Pub Trips (First Thursday each month) ----------------------------------- I will leading club rides to the pub at the first Thursday of each month.
